For us, there are many elements in the creative process but they generally fall into 6 stages.
Stage 1 | The Briefing
Just like a first date, this is the part where we really get to know you and together we’ll figure out the purpose, the audience and the key messages of your video or campaign. The brief becomes our blueprint which guides us through the project so we’ll make sure to get this right.
Stage 2 | Concept Development
Once we have the brief we then develop the concept and come up with creative ideas which we use to make the treatment that suits your budget and timeline.
Stage 3 | Pre-Production
Once you’ve signed off on the treatment we then begin to plan putting all the elements together in preparation for the shoot.
Stage 4 | Production
Production is when everything and everyone comes together either on location, at your office or in the studio. It’s when all the magic happens and it’s our favourite day!
Stage 5 | The Edit
The edit is an incredibly technical part of the process and is where we literally see it all come together. This is where we assemble the cut, add the graphics, design & mix the sound, add the music, colour correct and grade the images and add special effects if needed.
Stage 6 | Delivery
We'll prepare the video for delivery in whatever format you need it and we’ll optimise it for the platform you’ll be using whether its for online, television or internal use. We’ll also recommend strategies for implementation especially if the video is part of a wider campaign.
Timescale | How long does it take?
Well it all depends on the size of the production. We can turn around a simple promotional video in 48 hours, or less in certain circumstances. Typically, we manage to turn around our videos in about a week or so with the average turnaround time for a large-scale production being 3-4 weeks.
